This label has always been reliable down the years and this latest 2018 ain’t no different. Gold at the Marlborough Wine Show, Gold medal at the NZ Wine of the Year Awards. Hardly surprising coming from the most awarded winery in Aotearoa.
And what does it taste like? Zesty citrus fruit flavours like limes and lemons, nicely balanced zingy acidity with a dry finish. Yum yum.
This is an ideal wine to serve chilled as an aperitif – if you’re feeling a Master Chef moment coming along try whipping up with caramelized onion and goats cheese tart or twice cooked Szechuan pork belly. If that’s all sounding a bit too much effort try pairing with your next Thai, Indian or Chinese takeout!
