Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne Brut Moire Effect (Limited Edition)

What looks like a straight forward silver gift box is never a straight forward silver gift box when one of the world’s leading Champagne brands has something to do with it.

That’s why Mumm (pronounced moom) asked Italian designer and architect Renato Montagner to think outside the box (while still creating a box) in creating a limited edition offering with some visual wow factor.

He came up with the "Moire effect" (pronounced more-ay) – in mathematical, physical and artistic terms it’s a secondary and visually evident superimposed pattern created by two identical patterns on a flat or curved surface. Like we said, not just a straight forward silver gift box.
