Produced from a selection of their best vineyards on the eastern end of Waiheke Island. Man O’ War Valhalla Chardonnay is a wine that has gained a huge following over the years. And for bloody good reason!
This latest 2020 release is another beast. Scoring 93/100 with Master of Wine Bob Campbell, who called it “Big, rich and creamy chardonnay with layers of tree fruit, citrus fruit, mineral and oak flavours. Complex, satisfying and generously proportioned, with a solid backbone of tangy acid and peppery tannins. An heroic chardonnay with development potential.”
