Made by the Pegasus Bay crew – a primo Waipara producer with international recognition for their classy line up of wines.

Main Divide is the little brother to their Pegasus Bay label and just quietly we reckon it’s punching well above its weight for under twenty bucks. Main Divide is the name given to the mighty Southern Alp range, nicknamed the “backbone of the South Island” by some southerners. Backbone is exactly what this stunning white has got in abundance!

Already famous for the aromatic styles of white (Pinot Gris and Riesling especially) this is a new addition to their impressive line-up! Scored 4 out of 5 Stars in with local wine guru Raymond Chan, he called it a “powerfully packed off-dry Gewurz“.

Produced from some of their Waipara vineyards this is a mouth-filling, off-dry style white full of richness and sweetness. It’s ideal with spicy Asian cuisine, especially Thai or Indian curries.
