ARA Wine Estates were New Zealand’s largest single vineyard estate owned by the Todd Family. You might’ve heard of them? They’re worth a few bob. A few years ago they got bought by three brothers from another family, the Giesens. You might of heard of them? They’re also worth a few bob.
This is the top of the range Pinot Noir under the ARA label and was originally crafted to sell around the $50 mark. The Giesen guys have got plans to revamp the ARA labels – so out goes the Resolute at a ridiculous price!
There’s no shortcuts taken here, this is top tier for a reason. Using fruit from a few of the best rows in this single vineyard in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, using expensive new French oak and packaged in a heavy embossed bottle. It looks, feels and tastes the part of an extremely class Pinot.
Dark berries and cherries with a gorgeous smokiness and a silken texture. A class act for the money. Don’t muck about, grab some now because the first case went in the boss’ boot and the rest is for you to scramble over!

Damn, you're looking young for your age!
