Maybe it’s because the wine’s produced by an established, premium winery (Vavasour) and owned by a loaded Yank Billionaire (Bill Foley) who probably has more money than he knows what to do with, we’re not sure but we do know this Dashwood label has a track record that puts it up there with the best bang for buck wine labels in NZ!

Supposedly a secondary label, given the amount of Golds and 5 Stars the Dashwood labels have picked up over the years has made us wonder whether someone got the tanks mixed up at Vavasour!

Following the trend of colour coding their bottle caps – their 2019 Riesling has an eye-catchingly bright blue cap. Under the cap you’ll find an off-dry style Riesling bursting with zesty, citrusy flavours like lemons and limes. With a touch of sweetness and a refreshing dry finish, it’s a wonder more people don’t drink Riesling really!
